End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, installing, or using this Web3 Chat application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Nature of the Software

The App is an experimental, private development tool created for learning and testing purposes. It is:

• Not a production-grade or consumer-facing service.
• Not audited for security or cryptographic correctness.
• Not intended for transmitting sensitive, confidential, or personal information.
• Subject to change, interruption, or discontinuation at any time and without notice.

3. License Grant

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App solely for personal development and testing purposes. You may not use the App for any commercial, production, or public-facing purpose without explicit written consent from the author(s).

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities.
• Transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the operation of the App.
• Use the App to harass, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Represent to any third party that the App provides guaranteed secure or private communications.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE AUTHOR(S) DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR(S) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE APP IS TO STOP USING IT.

7. Security & Privacy Risks

While the App uses WebRTC for peer-to-peer messaging, no security or privacy guarantee is made. Communications may be intercepted, logged, or exposed due to bugs, misconfigurations, or network conditions. You acknowledge and accept these risks by using the App.

8. Intellectual Property

The App's source code and assets remain the property of their respective authors. Nothing in this EULA transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

9. Termination

This licence is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any term of this EULA. Upon termination you must cease all use of the App. The author(s) may also discontinue the App at any time without notice or liability.

10. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the primary author resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to This EULA

This EULA may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
